The multihyphenate has poured his heart into this project, using the EP as a medium to express the challenges and growth he’s experienced in recent years.

The journey to creating “ETA” was anything but easy. Quincy, who has been balancing the demands of an independent artist, faced numerous distractions, rumors and hardships in his personal life. Yet, these challenges became fuel for his creativity. “A lot is always happening, and being able to compartmentalize those things allowed me to dive into my artist bag,” he explains.

“I started to organize my songs, took a completely different approach to music, and redefined what ETA means. It’s not just an ‘estimated time of arrival’—it’s about being ahead, not missing opportunities.”

The EP features nine tracks that represent Quincy’s growth, both as an artist and as a person. “No one has ever officially named their EP “ETA: Earlier Than Anticipated” before, so it definitely represents growth. I wanted to create something true to myself, a body of work that could stand the test of time,” Quincy says.

While most of the tracks are solo, Quincy did collaborate with a few artists — including Austin Mahone, and his brother King Combs on the smooth anthem, “Stopping the Coupe.” One notable feature is from Dak, an artist Quincy recently discovered and is helping to develop through his own label. “I think better for others than I do for myself, and I’ve been doing that for years. Now, it’s time to put that on paper.”
