Darktonic

South African DJ and producer Darktonic is building up his career slowly and steady, it's not even a decade pass and has got himself working with the biggest names in the industry.

This unlikely uprising superstar was born Namhla Nsikelelo Zondi on July 26, 1996 in Empangeni and grew up surrounded by music particularly influenced by his uncle's talent of playing keyboard and singing in events.
Reserved, interllectual and stylish performer Darktonic who incorporates live melodys and basslines with his midi keyboard to his DJ sets, Has worked with major artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:6aDX1jzNVAI9enlQzW0Pgw" data-name="Moonchild Sanelly">Moonchild Sanelly</a> on a song called Jiva Juluka, and <a href="spotify:artist:4FeS5BasW4m7aYOZun1qiK" data-name="Dashiki">Dashiki</a> on a song called Gianna oh remix.

Having dropped an EP called Gqom library which has inspired the sound he plays and produces - Sgubhu sama razo.
Sgubhu sama razo best described as a sub genre of Gqom having hypnotic textures, hardcore percussion, and heavy bass sounds.
