Darren Cashwell is a pop-duo from Manila, Philippines, who began their musical journey as DJs in 2013. They made their mark in the EDM scene with their debut track “I Know” in 2018, quickly gaining traction with 100K streams in its first few weeks. From 2019 to 2021, they signed multiple releases with Revealed Recordings, dropping high-energy tracks like “Take It Higher,” “Bring The House Down,” “Make Me,” and “Fresh.”
During the pandemic, Darren Cashwell pivoted from EDM to Pop, exploring a more emotional and melodic sound. Tracks like “ENEMY,” “What Could’ve Been,” and “Friday” showcased their evolving artistry, while their independent hit “sour patch” earned editorial playlist placements across Asia.
Now signed with Star Music Philippines, they continue crafting radio-pop anthems, recently releasing their first EP, “kinda not so in love.” Inspired by artists like NOTD, LAUV, LANY, Aries, and Troye Sivan, Darren Cashwell blends heartfelt lyrics with upbeat instrumentals, pushing the boundaries of modern pop music.
