Darren Shabaiash is Darren Sipity, a Native American rapper from the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. His most recent project, an EP titled <a href="spotify:album:2kOboykHNp2zYl2r0PyAYb" data-name="Probably Your Cousin">Probably Your Cousin</a>, was recorded during quarantine and released in December 2020. The record takes on a laid- back vibe as Sipity examines social unrest, Native history and his own personal journey. “You can’t test the water without jumpin’ in it first,” he raps on the track “My Mind is a Computer.” “Cannonballs all on the side of your ship.
