Hailing from the great city of Los Angeles/Inglewood, CA, Darrin Grand has been winning fans over worldwide with his tremendous lyricism, flow and signature raspy voice. Drawing heavy influence from industry legends such as Jay Z, Nas, Notorious BIG, 2Pac and Kendrick Lamar, Darrin creates his art by articulating his life experiences over powerful beats. The end result is a captivating, authentic story that enlightens it’s listeners about the cold reality of hustling on the streets and all of the painful lessons he learned on his way.

A gifted athlete, Darrin was a top recruit for high school basketball, playing against competition that would eventually go pro in the NBA. Unfortunately, Darrin’s rebelliousness caused himself quite a bit of trouble with the law, spending time in and out of incarceration. Having become a well respected hustler, Darrin was ultimately done in by a snitch and served almost 8 years out of a 10 year sentence. The day of his release, October 24th, is the foundation of his movement - TEN24 MUZIK. Inspired by the harsh lessons he received, Darrin is now on a mission to help with juveniles and moving forward with prison reform.
