An indigenous singer songwriter from Opaskwayak Cree Nation renowned for round dance and 2018 Best Hand Drum Album nominee at The Indigenous Music Awards. Music has allowed him to connect to land, language and ceremony. Through his music his belief is that everyone has song inside of them if only they listen. Music can be medicine that will help you find your own song.

Darryl is ininew from Opaskwayak Cree Nation where he lived a caring upbringing that allowed him to stay focussed on the skills needed to develop singing at round dances and also traveling to these types of gatherings. These environments were where it was encouraged to be good natured, compassionate and kind which promotes one to be confident. A superb formula for making music and singing which became his passion. Nominated in 2018 for best hand drum album at the Indigenous Music Awards, this motivated Darryl to release a collaborative round dance album with prominent figures within the music industry.
