Darshan James was born on the 9th of May 1994 in Kingston Jamaica and was raised in a community called Cassava Piece.
In Kingston not easy to strive in a ghetto
like any other community, with hardly any job opportunities, was actually motivation for Darshan to explore what his true talent was growing up in the Garrisons in Jamaica.
2010 was the year Darshan decided to explore his talent in music production and developed his creative skills in production so rapidly that by 2011 he was pursuing a professional career.
Working with established artist in the dancehall scene from 4th Generation music Aidonia and Govana, naming from a long list of songs from “ Hey Girl” to “ MayDay” “Hot tool” and “LOOK” creating a recording label called Darshan Records.
Darshan was making hits after hits and it was not long after creating a buzz in the dancehall industry he carried on working with new up and coming artist like Iwaata from “play it” to “Reebok” and many more.
Darshan has composed and contributed with ghost productions, working with the Elite artist in the dancehall scene, with the vision to expand his production in other genres and show his diversity in music and one day bring the new Generation of top Jamaican artist representing Kingston working together towards international status like no other.
