Hailing from Brisbane/Magandjin, Australia, Das Druid are a sonic trip that bridges hemispheres and decades. Channeling the spirit of late-80s and early-90s Madchester while forging their own path, Das Druid offer a fresh, high-energy fusion of psychedelic rock, acid house, and alt-rock—music that’s equal parts hazy nostalgia and forward-thinking exploration.

Unlike many revival acts, Das Druid didn’t set out to recreate a scene—they arrived at their sound organically, driven by a shared obsession with the hypnotic grooves of house music and the swirling textures of psych rock. The result is a modern take on the Madchester aesthetic, full of pulsing beats, shimmering guitars, and trance-like atmospheres that pull audiences into a heady, surreal live experience.

After putting out their debut album, Das Druid dove deeper into the roots of the movement that had inspired them. In doing so, they connected with artists and figures who were—and still are—key players in the original scene. That journey not only validated their direction, but also helped shape their identity, paving the way for their evolution as a band and solidifying their place in the global psych-dance continuum.
