Dasha Akelin

Growing up in a small, suburban town in New York, Dasha Akelin was drawn to music at a very early age. She started playing piano and ukulele when she was only ten years old and began singing and writing songs as a young teenager. She was the first American born in her Russian family and was fully supported by her family to fulfill her musical dreams.

Through hard work and determination, Dasha Akelin has had the pleasure of collaborating with amazing songwriters and artists such as Abigail Breslin, Mally Stakz, DTronic, Yonas, The Heatmakerz, The Golden Pony, Felmax, Daniel Wanrooy and many others. Her collaboration on the cover of "Let Me Love You" by Mario with The Golden Pony reached #40 in Australia on the Spotify charts and had exceeded 500K streams in over 4 months.

The now 25-year old singer-songwriter is planning her debut EP release, produced and co-written with DTronic, in the upcoming months. This EP has a blend of urban dance elements with pop top line melodies to create a unique sound to match her soulful vocals. She is very excited to release this first project along with many other projects along the way.
