David Daughtry

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, gospel singer, musician, actor, psalmist, and praise & worship director David Daughtry could read and play music by the age of six. Following a move to Los Angeles, he became a sought-after support vocalist, working with <a href="spotify:artist:7nwUJBm0HE4ZxD3f5cy5ok">Aretha Franklin</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0ty0xha1dbprYIUAQufkFn">Patti LaBelle</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0fW7wYpfi0yzlc8JPP12jA">Kim Burrell</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:47opbYEKDjXnRk9uLscp11">Yolanda Adams</a>, and others, before stepping out on his own as a solo singer when he signed with <a href="spotify:artist:76dDIM8amCY58U3uvr1Rw1">Karen Clark-Sheard</a> and Bishop J. Drew Sheard's <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Karew+Records%22">Karew Records</a> and released a self-titled debut album with the label in 2014.
