David Edren

&#39;<a href="spotify:album:2RNqyNoA48mJz7DiELnxvD" data-name="Music for Mimosa Pudica &amp; Codariocalyx">Music for Mimosa Pudica &amp; Codariocalyx</a>&#39; a conceptual work by David Edren, first saw the light of day in 2015. This commissioned album accompanied Earth.Rope.Pot Plant&#39;s newly published book.
Social Harmony released his evenly conceptual &#39;<a href="spotify:album:6DdVoGx3ugpiaOfaVpgVME" data-name="Electronic Gamelan Music">Electronic Gamelan Music</a>&#39; in 2017 as a cassette only release. In 2018 Edren teamed up with artist <a href="spotify:artist:61FiO41HGvzvRpwwYIoGPG" data-name="Jatinder Singh Durhailay">Jatinder Singh Durhailay</a> to record the album &#39;<a href="spotify:album:1hAcu6EjmoTdRd6E526HzM" data-name="Tea Notes">Tea Notes</a>&#39;, released on 12&#34; vinyl by the label Ekster in 2019.
Two new albums saw the light of day in February 2023; the highly anticipated new solo effort titled &#39;<a href="spotify:album:44fcXX6GlhROVLz4rpU3yZ" data-name="Relativiteit Van de Omgeving">Relativiteit Van de Omgeving</a>&#39; through NotNotFun Records and the collaborative album &#39;<a href="spotify:album:7gUWFnfVd1dY0tVDVSfY5e" data-name="Flow | 流れ">Flow | 流れ</a>&#39; with <a href="spotify:artist:3NOSJgRYEyW2zVyVRMbCSV" data-name="H.Takahashi">H.Takahashi</a>.

Antwerp artist/composer David Edren is producing music under the name <a href="spotify:artist:5WGUaFwvLvqDxiKO1zBkWq" data-name="DSR Lines">DSR Lines</a> since the turn of the millennium, is part of Het Interstedelijk Harmoniumverbond and runs the Hare Akedod label with Bent Von Bent, with whom he most recently started <a href="spotify:artist:6QxHFGs6vhAOpkstZBSNHa" data-name="Spirit &amp; Form">Spirit &amp; Form</a>. His work has been released by labels like JJ Funhouse, Ekster, Ultra Eczema, Abstrakce, Black Sweat Records and Social Harmony amongst others.

Edren is a master in creating magnificent melodies in which, aside from Eastern and Indian music, he is regularly inspired by fauna and flora, botanical gardens, tea, ... <a href="spotify:album:5A4aObZdKCPfXKR6FiLDmn" data-name="Spirit &amp; Form">Spirit &amp; Form</a>, released in 2020 by Antwerp label JJ Funhouse, is yet another new highlight in the career of this unique artist whose work, without exception, always radiates a unique beauty.
