Swedish guitarist David Henriksson moved to Nashville in 2017 and has since played with 12 artists who topped the Billboard charts and 3 Grammy winning artists. He’s performed multiple times at iconic venues such as Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry House. David also is a featured educator at TrueFire and a writer featured at guitar.com.
On his debut EP, REMINISCENCE, David showcases some of his influences including tunes composed as tributes to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore and The Allman Brothers. These blues and rock influences get spiced up with David’s love for country guitar. There’s also a long, 100% improvised, dynamic outro jam featuring producer <a href="spotify:artist:4CP7yvfFofQ98f1rN5VcAQ" data-name="Guthrie Trapp">Guthrie Trapp</a> on acoustic guitar. During the recording session David and 3 of his favorite musicians all were in the same room, with amplifiers and drums bleeding into each other’s microphones - giving this EP a very raw and lively feel.
