David Edwards began playing piano professionally at a local pizza parlor as a teenager. He studied classical and jazz piano at the University of North Texas, and afterward played in rock groups, country bands and pop music from many genres. One band he was with was signed to Capitol Records.
After his last release, “Still the River Flows,” he began experiencing serious problems with his hands, making it impossible to play for more than two years. After multiple surgeries and difficult therapy, he was finally able to play and record again.
Now, his new album, “Memories of You,” will be officially released in June. It features 15 new solo piano compositions straight from the heart, with Dave’s own personal touch. He currently lives in the Denver, Colorado area.
