Davis D, real name David Icyishaka, is an East African Afro Pop singer songwriter and performer. Born in Huye, Rwanda on March 23rd 1993, he started his journey in music in 2014 with his first single “Kana ka Maman” and in 2015, his single “Biryogo”.
He got signed to indie record label, INCREDIBLE RECORDS in 2016 and has released several songs under the label imprint, including hits such as “Ifarasi”, “Bon”, “Pose”, “Micro”, “Dede” and more.
In 2019, his released “Dede” which became the biggest song in Rwanda and to date, it has over 6 million streams across all platforms.
Known for his very sleek music videos, fashion sense and very distinct vocals, Davis D continues to hone his musical talents, and his audience gets wider with every release.
