We are a Jungle/Drum & Bass collective based in the UK’s city of Manchester. CEO's of Bass Music imprint Hocus Pocus (Since Dec 2012).

The guys have worked hard over the last few years refining their craft and understanding their position in the vast musical landscape that Drum & Bass has become. This resulted in a cultural reset, with the Hocus Pocus Recordings label owners honing in on what made the original junglist movement of the 90's and early part of this millennium so dear to their hearts.

This artist & label relaunch sees the duo identify and tap into the auditory, visual & cultural aesthetic from the 'Second Summer Of Love', which was the foundation for what followed through the nineties. This has served to underpin their overall vision, composition, musicality & style of production moving forward.

Dawn Raid’s style of DJ set can simply be referred to as straight up rinse out, with a musical edge! Combined with a real passion for the music, and the scene since it’s inception in the early 90s, Dawn Raid seek to deliver productions and live performances that represent the spectrum of Jungle/DnB from its beginnings to the present day.
