At the age of 14 I bought my first guitar at a local pawn shop in my hometown of Rome, Georgia. Shortly after I was playing local restaurants and bars trying to make a name for myself while still in high school. Immediately after graduation I got a job at Capitoline Products building countertops to save up the money to make the move to Nashville to pursue a career in country music.
By Age 19 I had saved enough money to make the move to Nashville and got a job working night shifts loading trucks at UPS to make ends meet, while writing songs during the day. In 2016 I was selected to be in ASCAP’s GPS program, which allowed me to work closely with Nashville publishers and writers. In December of 2017 I signed a publishing deal with BMG Nashville and was able to focus on music full time.
