A lost project formed by members of @Swan Wash, Nü Youth, and @Early Day Miners, DAY ROOM performed publicly just three times in early 2017 before disbanding. The band's only complete session, recorded that same year at Magnetic South (Bloomington IN), saw the light of day in 2021 via a self-titled cassette on vocalist/bassist Scott Ferguson's label Sister Cylinder. Fans of Comsat Angels, Savages, Ulterior, and late-'80s Cure will find a familiar home in the sparse rhythms and cavernous, lyrical guitar lines of the band's output.
