Dayvion Clayborn

Dayvion Clayborn released countless music before coming to the realization that the piano would end up as his most prized possession. After releasing a mixtape entitled “Black Lottery Cartel”, he realized something was missing from his music. Shortly thereafter he released a single entitled “T.R.U Ballad”, which received massive amounts of traffic on SoundCloud and Youtube. The success of this song is what ultimately gave Dayvion the courage to stand in his truth. He was quoted saying, “I used to make music based off of what I thought people wanted to hear, I honestly didn’t think anyone would like ‘T.R.U Ballad’ because it didn’t have any hi-hats or 808s.” He couldn’t have been more wrong. No other song he’s released has been as successful. As a result, I’m sure we can expect much more piano filled music from the mind and the heart of Dayvion Clayborn in the near future. Dayvion states, “Always stand in your truth. You may feel like no one wants to hear it. However; the world may be waiting for what you have to offer. If you aren’t honest with yourself through your Art, you won’t be offering anything the world hasn’t already witnessed.”
