De-Wisper

De-Wisper fondly known as "Rose" or "Wisper" is a Nigerian born songwriter, rapper, and hip hop artist based in Oklahoma. "Aminu" was the name given to him at birth meaning "the trusted one". He left Nigeria at 17 years old to return to America to pursue his college education in Oklahoma and set to graduate May 2019. He began rapping at 10 years old after losing one of his brothers and has since then found a passion for music. Wisper is an artist who has been compared to the likes of Cole, Kendrick, Em, Logic, and Drake due to his lyrical capabilities. He is a versatile artist with an ability to rap in about three languages and many styles. When asked to describe his flow he said " I am very unorthodox and always change my style, because my influence comes from Africa, the United States, and the U.K so it's a mash up". "I do music because its a therapy for me and I love what it does for people, if it becomes a means of income I would be extremely grateful to GOD because my family needs me". De-Wisper is an artist with a very message oriented approach in his music but doesn't lack in world-play, punchlines, and fun tunes for the club or a drive home. He is definitely worth a listen.
