Dead Favours are an alternative rock group from Auckland, New Zealand. Formed in 2016 by drummer Charlie Smith and vocalist Jared Wrennall, previously the drummer for the Grammy nominated band Steriogram. The band is made up of Jared Wrennall (vocals/guitar), Kyle Wetton (guitar) and Charlie Smith (drums).
The band have achieved a lot in a short time; having just taken out the award for Best Rock Act at the 2021 Aotearoa Music Awards they have also worked with a number of notable producers including Tom Larkin of Shihad and Chris Mac of Six60 and shared the stage with the likes of Royal Blood, Wolfmother, Rise Against and Halestorm, along with a string of notable kiwi acts.
