Deadly Habits is a Chicago-based music and arts project centered around the duo of producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Evan Lyman, and vocalist and visual artist Animah Boakye. Together with their stable of collaborators, they craft cyberpunk soundscapes fusing dark, hypnotic hip-hop beats and grooves with neon synths, knifing guitars and nostalgic samples. The world of Deadly Habits is that of a noir thriller where a moonlit cruise on Lake Shore Drive, drag race on Lower Wacker, or an underground vampire rave could be right around the corner.
