Joshua Benoit was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was introduced to music at an early age. Every morning his mother would always play songs from Haiti, his parents native country. As a child, he sang in his church youth choir and even participated in national competitions.

Joshua did go on to find success as a fitness promoter, entrepreneur, and model as an adult; feature appearances on, GQ and Essence magazines, but he believes that his true calling has always been his first love, music. Now is the time to share that love and passion with the world.
