The musical moniker of Detroit-born artist Brendan Alpiner, Dean the Dream is a combination of rock ‘n roll’s historic lineage bent with a modern pop flair.
Both as a musician and poet, Dean has received universal positive acclaim for his work. American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, Earmilk and iHeart Radio have hailed the artist as both “visionary” and “way ahead of his time,” with over a million streams independently on Spotify alone. And as a poet, Dean’s been published in numerous outlets across the nation as well as receiving a title as one of West Hollywood’s Top Prize Poets in 2021.
With a backing of the music industry’s heavyweights such as Dean Reid (Lana Del Rey, Stevie Nicks), Tom Campbell (Adele, Michael Kiwanuka) and Brian Ross (“We Are the World” by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, The Music Machine), Dean’s murkier, surreal take on rock’s past couldn’t come at a better moment.
Dean’s fourth LP, An American Pastoral, is expected late 2025. He describes it as "a deeply Californian Southern Gothic record."
