Debatik Dion Dakaj, better known as DEBA, is one of Albania’s most accomplished songwriters and producers. With over 250 original songs to his name, DEBA has left a lasting mark on the music scene—blending raw emotion, poetic depth, and unforgettable melodies.
He began his journey in the early 2010s as a solo artist, writing, composing, singing, and producing his own tracks from scratch. His talent quickly drew attention, leading to a deal with a major record label. But behind the scenes, DEBA was trapped in the shadows of the industry—working as a ghostwriter for major international artists, uncredited and unheard.
In 2025, DEBA broke free.
After ending his contract, he began releasing his unreleased demo songs—one by one—finally reclaiming his Lyrics. That same year, in July 2025, he released the deeply personal album
“Hin si hije, dal si tim”
(“I enter like a shadow, and vanish like smoke”).
The title reflects DEBA’s belief that what truly matters in life is what we create—not the fame, not the noise, but the legacy we leave behind through art.
This album saved his life and marked a transformative chapter—an artistic rebirth rooted in truth, pain, and power.
Now, DEBA steps into the light. No filters. No masks. Just music that speaks.
