Decem Maleficivm

At the end of the year 2000 by mixing the Black Metal and the Doom Metal Decem Maleficivm was born . The name of the band reflex the concept of duality and contrasts, is based on the number ten, which is the first number that is composed of two elements in our numerical system.

Already settled in, the band recorded what would be his debut demo in 2002 which bears the name “Nox Decima”. In 2004 at the “Maestro 3” studios the band records the “Motivatio Intrinseca” Ep, the name refers to perform things for self-satisfaction and self-motivation but not for others satisfaction. In 2016, the band decided to resume their work. In an independent production a limited edition of the demo “Nox Decima” and the EP “Motivatio Intrinseca” is realesed in tape format as a part of the single “The ceremony”. In May of 2019, the album “La Fin de Satan” was digitally released, which consists of 7 songs recorded at “Sonido Origen” studio by Carlos Fuentes. The sound is closer to the avant-garde metal, with influences from <a href="spotify:artist:0UGvFl1tJ49Co99gaXZH9Z" data-name="Arcturus">Arcturus</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2HmtB6wVRRi3z0JwZHtkiD" data-name="Enslaved">Enslaved</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6jPWrSmxOd9mj7Xaj4EP2Y" data-name="Emperor">Emperor</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6qpmcQfxhmNxNMCJUrpHwe" data-name="Dissection">Dissection</a>. With this work, Decem Maleficivm is invited as support band of the greek band Rotting Christ, event held on Wednesday, June 5 at the Club Blondie.

The current Decem Maleficivm members are: Pedro Fontecilla (<a href="spotify:artist:6r06ZJFHIm6k10Sjsoru7g" data-name="Aseidad">Aseidad</a>) and David Zambrano (<a href="spotify:artist:2tnG8PHNozK8aAit1fDEcF" data-name="Madkind">Madkind</a>) in Guitars, Rodrigo Díaz in bass, Daniel Araya (<a href="spotify:artist:1jU4xDYXGrqKwiuuAUdELx" data-name="Ruit Hora">Ruit Hora</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:36q4NvFpb6yjSEQR1m5FTb" data-name="Favna Abisal">Favna Abisal</a>) in Synthesizers and vocals, Cristhian Rojas (<a href="spotify:artist:074soA4nG3XU1R0HzDziVd" data-name="Cadaverous Incarnate">Cadaverous Incarnate</a>) in drums and Magus Umbra Nox in grunts.
