Deep Underground

Costa Rican death metal act with black, melodic and deathcore influences. Initially a thrash metal band formed in 2011 by guitarist Andrés Maroto in Alajuela, Costa Rica. Their sound turned into death metal with the addition of vocalist Gabriel Martínez. Later that year Sebastian Barrantes joined the band playing synths and keyboard. With Sebastian the band was able to create songs with a richer, fuller and more melodic sound. In 2017 Daniel Fallas became the drummer and in 2018 Leonardo Hidalgo joined the band to play bass.
