Based in Toronto, songwriting and producing partners Luke McMaster and Arun Chaturvedi make up the talented multi-genre production team, DEEP WAVE.
<a href="spotify:artist:2lEf9RRbmVxeYySAmcFlJL" data-name="Luke McMaster">Luke McMaster</a> enjoyed his impressive Canadian gold album run as a duo with Rob James in McMaster & James, (“Thank You,” “Love Wins Everytime,”) with media often referring to them as the “Canadian Hall & Oates.” When he turned solo in 2002 and launched a more focused songwriting career and placing songs on multi-platinum and gold albums by Rihanna, Nick Lachey, Nick Carter and Kalan Porter. McMaster also recorded a succession of EPs and albums including 2008’s Time EP, 2013’s All Roads, 2014’s Heart of Soul and 2016’s Trending.
Equally at home behind a grand piano or a recording console, Arun Chaturvedi is an award winning Producer, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist, and Mixer.
He has worked with a diverse roster of artists and songwriters including legends like Lamont Dozier, and Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals, as well as contemporary artists like The Tenors, Jim Brickman and long time collaborator Luke McMaster.
The classically trained pianist is also an in demand composer for Film and Television whose credits include hit TV shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians, General Hospital, PJ Masks, Degrassi and many more.
Arun currently serves as president of The Songwriters Association of Canada.
