Demon Head is one of those bands that manage to sound not quite like anyone else. Listen to their newest single 'Every Flatworm', a masterpiece of desperation, triumph and longing. Born in Copenhagen but now also now based in Ireland and Sweden, the band shows no sign of slowing down after their first decade of activity. Though hesitant to compromise the description of the music they perform through generalizing terms of genre, they’ve coined the term ‘Diabolic Rock’ as an appropriate presentation. But fans of everything from heavy metal and classic rock & punk to ambient, acoustic and alternative music will discover aspects that appeal to them.
Demon Head is recognized for their uncompromising and independent practice having written, recorded, produced, mixed, filmed, photographed, drawn and toured every second and every cell of their collective body, leaving their development and growth as an organism something their very own.
Now the band invites you to enter their singular world again, as their fifth album 'Through Holes Shine the Stars' will see release by the legendary Svart Records in autumn 2024. After releasing three cult albums - 'Ride The Wilderness' (2015), 'Thunder on the Fields' (2017) and 'Hellfire Ocean Void' (2019) ‘Viscera’ was released in 2021 on Metal Blade Records to great critical acclaim. In 2023 the band self-released a special version og their first song 'Demon Head' featuring long-term friend - the queen of darkness herself - Jinx Dawson of Coven.
