Toronto based Deniz Reno is a globally recognized singer, songwriter, producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist whose twelve year body of work has included some of underground electronic music most loved tunes. Reno’s unique blend of smooth pop-soul and eastern vocal riffs have become her signature sound. She plays with melodies and genres, merging and evolving them into something completely new and unique. In 2015 Deniz made her debut at Brick and Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco and has shared the stage with the likes of Matt Lange, Themba, Mickey Dastinz and Conjure One. She holds residencies at some of Toronto’s top venues and has performed in Ibiza, Bali, Miami, Los Angeles, Cuba, Moscow and Almaty. With releases on Armada, Mau5trap, Warner, Ame, Perfecto and many other international labels, she continues to break ground in the music industry. Reno’s music has been licensed to film and television by Netflix, NBC and Channel 1 and her singles have appeared in over a dozen physical and digital compilation bestsellers like In Search of Sunrise 13.5 Amsterdam (Armada Music) curated by Richard Durand and BT, PACHA 2018 (Warner Music) and Armada Sunset Vol. 4 (Armada Music). Her music has been supported by the likes of Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, Matt Lange, Marcus Schossow, and Amin Van Buuren. Deniz is a member of the American Recording Academy (Grammys) and the founder ‘Taksu Records Radio’, available to stream on Soundcloud.
