Dept is an indie pop-alternative band from Bangkok, Thailand. Their music blends various genres including dream pop, ambient, and lofi.
The band consists of two members: Benz - Pawat Opassirichote (Vocal/Guitarist) and Luke Townsend (Keyboard/Synthesizer).
We came together in 2018, meeting at university. We have released two EPs, 'One Night Event' and 'Super Contrast,' and two full-length albums, 'Ceramics Runway' and 'Hey Mom, Did You See Me In The Newspaper.' We are signed with Smallroom Bangkok Pop Music Label.
