Uncle Ben is an indie pop band under What The Duck, consisting of three members: “Nup” – Ben Raksanawes (Vocals), “Adib” – Thatchapol Pannopha (Guitar), and “Bas” – Pitit Saenin (Bass). Along with former member “North” – Kritsanaphon Phosri, they are all alumni of Bangkapi School. The band was formed after graduation, brought together by their shared musical taste. Initially, they didn’t intend to create original songs—just casual cover sessions in a rehearsal room.
Their journey into original music began after participating in projects like TK Band and Good Hope, gaining attention with the track “อย่าเป็นฉันเลย”. The song caught the ear of Ball, a member of Scrubb and co-founder of What The Duck, who invited the band to join MILK BKK. Eventually, Uncle Ben officially signed with What The Duck.
The band has since released two EPs, featuring hit songs like “อย่าเป็นฉันเลย”, “อยู่เป็นของขวัญให้ฉันก่อน”, “โตไปด้วยกัน”, “โปรด (ดูแลฉันด้วยใจที่อ่อนโยน)”, “ด้วยรักและคิดถึง”, and many more.
