Desalmado are today at the forefront of Sao Paulo's underground scene. On the road since 2004 with 5 official releases, tours in Europe - casting festivals like SWR Barroselas Metal Fest (Portugal) and F.E.T.O Fest (Spain), playing numerous gigs throughout Brazil alongside legends of extreme metal and hardcore such as Napalm Death, Incantation, Krisiun, Carnifex, Nuclear Assault, Brujeria, D.R.I, Ratos de Porão, Amenra, Entombed and Obituary.
Desalmado stay true to grindcore, not only for its aggressive and impactant sounding music, but mostly for its musical attitude. Exposing the guts of a perverse and alienated world subservient to a system manipulated by the dominant classes.
