Milwaukee's Devils Teeth play seriously fun garage rock dedicated to the sleazy midnight movie marathons of their youth. These battle-worn disciples of devil music include: Vocalist/guitarist Jonny Glissando, Vocalist/bassist Erico il Bello, Drummer/percussionist Chazz Bolognese, and saxophonist Snaggletoots.
In 2017 Devils Teeth released their debut album, Suki Yaki Hot!. 10 primitive slabs of greezy rock n’ roll recorded in a cold basement on the southside of Milwaukee that firmly establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the Midwest.
This sound allowed them to share the stage with other decibel warriors like Dick Dale, Local H, Man or Astro Man?, The Blind Shake, 5.6.7.8s, Giants Chair, Fret Rattles, and The Toxenes.
In 2021 Devils Teeth returns with its sophomore effort, Il Leggenda di Chong Li. Not content to repeat the same old shit over and over again, they decided to concoct a spaghetti-western garage rock operetta inspired by their own fan fiction of the character Chong Li from the martial arts film Bloodsport. The ambitious record was recorded in a barn next to an insect infested forest during the dog days of summer. Chong Li takes its listeners on a cinematic journey through moonlit desert nights and dusty blood-soaked ghost towns. Not shying away from eclectic musical tastes, the album utilizes multiple genres like garage rock, surf, post-punk, and exotica.
