Devin Ian Schramm

Devin Ian Schramm is a musical artist hailing from Central Texas. He was born on January 5, 1998, and has been musically involved since age 12, when he joined the Bellville Brahma Band. He has been actively recording since 2016, and in the time since, he has recorded &amp; released new material on a consistent basis, looking to grow as an artist with each new project. In 2021, Schramm joined the flourishing independent label Vital Music Empire, based in Storm Lake, Iowa, which was co-founded by his regular collaborator <a href="spotify:artist:62eCXsFWwdu4pwD4L8tgP4" data-name="TaliBoy719">TaliBoy719</a>. Devin is noted for a distinctive &amp; genre-blending sound, often with uplifting or stream-of-consciousness lyrical content - and for his multi-instrumental duties. In June, 2022, Devin Ian Schramm released the album “Don’t Be Silly, You’ll Crash It, Vol. 2”, his first full length album in over 2 years &amp; first since signing to VME. This record proved to be a relative breakthrough for Devin after several years struggling to find a suitable audience, spawning a string of his most well-known &amp; most-streamed tracks.
Devin Ian Schramm played bass for <a href="spotify:artist:3cm420dGgq6D3tm1LQeIIi" data-name="The Fallback Plan">The Fallback Plan</a> from May-November 2023. He maintained a steady &amp; well-received solo output throughout 2024 while also playing shows with <a href="spotify:artist:37kWMakJObzQQHeFDXQGIm" data-name="Dean Erickson">Dean Erickson</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:2YDbzxznUnzvj2pCzJRaaJ" data-name="astatic">astatic</a>. As of 2025, Schramm has put his solo efforts somewhat to the side in light of joining yet another band, “Texas Torment”, who plan to record their debut project throughout the year with lead guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:5oHZTZtHbLVUQmzbye2T9M" data-name="Aulden Ruth">Aulden Ruth</a> in the producer’s chair.
