Dezzei, born Nate Slaughter, is an artist/producer formerly from Akron, OH. In early 2018 he left his job, sold his house, crowd funded an annual salary, and moved his family (wife and three sons) to Los Angeles California. He pioneered record label “One Voice Music” with nationally recognized non-profit organization “One Voice Student Missions”.
Working alongside author and speaker Brian Barcelona, Nate formed an artist collective whose music impacted youth culture with the message of hope in some of the worst public schools in Los Angeles.
He released several singles and an album under former branding “Deezy” from 2012-2017, both as a Hip-Hop and EDM/Trap artist/producer. Nate had noteworthy performances in support of Reach Records artist Tripp Lee, and others including Aaron Carter, Flame, V-Rose, Project 86, City lights, and Ascend The Hill. Some highlights include performances at festivals and conferences including Alive Fest, Awaken The Dawning, and Passion Crusade, India.
