Growing up in poverty in the Magnolia projects located in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana. David Brady, Jr., knew early in life that he had a special gift in music. He recalls when he was only 7 or 8, he would pick up anything that resembled a microphone and rap to songs that he would hear on the radio. Inspired by local rap groups like UNLV, Partners & Crime and the Hot Boys he knew his inner gift for the music world was in him. By the time he turned 12, he had decided to test his musical skills. He joined the band at S.J. Peters Middle School where he learned how to play every instrument in the percussionist section. While friends and family wanted David to pursue a career in football, David wanted to put his music career 1st. Understanding the music industry, watching people at concerts & his love for music, made him realize that he was born to be on the stage.
Adopting the stage name of Diezel DaBeast, David has taken his music to the studios. In his own words, “My music is about reality, my life, my pain, my struggle. It’s about me and who I am.” Diezel has done a mixed tape with artists on his record label he started on his own called " Cool Nation", and is currently working on his first album release entitled "Black Sheep".
