Dinho, an Amapiano DJ originating from Mamelodi township. has won the hearts of groove lovers and music enthusiasts with his creativity and imaginative deejaying style. Dinho's love for music began in high school when he was 16. He discovered Mr Vee, Jojo Flores, Oskido and Vinny and was inspired by them to become a DJ. His mother recognized his passion and bought him his first deejaying and sound equipment, paving the way for him to use his talents to become an influence in his community and in the music industry. As Dinho's popularity in Mamelodi grew because of all the events he was performing at, he saw an opportunity to level up his music career further by hosting his own events and "Dinho Cafe" was born, an annual event attended by over 40 000 people. Dinho teamed up with DBN Gogo in 2020 on "Thokoza Cafe". His organic, grassroots approach to growing a fan base earned him the coveted title "President Ya Flaka", which translates to "President of Mamelodi".
