Dioniso is a Spanish rock band from the Boston, MA area. Since 2010 they have been making original and fun music. Their shows and their music are pure energy and that is what makes them stand out so much. In 2015 they made their debut with their first album "De Ayer a Mañana." This album was very well received among their fans, because of their mix of melody and power. Some of the highlights of this albums are Otra Vez, Déjame Volar and Claridad. Although, this album is a more serious album compared to the other two, it was vital to help pave the road that Dioniso would continue on through the years.
In 2018, their second album "Dejen Dormir" showed their growth as musicians and performers. This album is a mix of energy, fun and songs that could highlight the personalities of the bandmembers and their experiences as immigrants. Songs like El Pibe, Crepúsculo and La Ignorancia helped establish the band in the local Boston scene. In particular Crepúsculo, which had a version attached to a digital release of De Ayer a Mañana, is a interesting and catchy composition that would have people jumping and singing along. El Norte is a fun song that documents the struggles of the immigrant, particularly those coming from Central and South America.
El Impulso EP is the unreleased material from Dioniso's "would be" 3rd album. The band went down a more technical path with these songs; exploring different musical paths as well as lyrical content.
