Manchester’s Dirty Blonde are a blonde-bombshell indie rock band, fronted by the powerhouse pairing of Ailis Mackay (vocals, guitar) and Hayley Tait (guitar, backing vocals). In April 2025 they released their second EP, earning them a reputation for punchy guitar work, heartfelt lyrics, and powerful live performances. Drawing on varied influences from indie, pop and classic rock, they bring a fresh take on alt-rock. The band have shared the stage with acts including Sam Fender, Blossoms, Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols, Louis Tomlinson, The Lottery Winners, and The K’s; and grabbed the attention of tastemakers at Radio 1, 6Music, Radio X, Kerrang!, and MTV to name a few.
