Hey it’s CHERYM!!!!!!!! Serving up a zingy, fearless new recipe for pop rock, CHERYM are a three-piece band of muckers from Derry with some seriously infectious songwriting credentials. Taking influence from Charly Bliss, Bikini Kill, Sløtface, PUP and Pixies.
Hannah (she/they), Alannagh (she/they) and Emer (she/her) formed after meeting in college over a joint love of garage rock, pop punk and a plan to kick back at the local music scene “boys club.” In 2021, CHERYM signed with Alcopop! Records, released their second EP ‘Hey Tori’ in October and completed a headline UK tour in the same month. They followed this with over 150,000 streams, 8 performances at SXSW this year, support tours for Nova Twins and The Beths around UK and Europe. In late 2022 the band signed with Marshall Live Agency and in early 2023 took SXSW by storm for a second time along with a multitude of festivals and headline tour dates. CHERYM have just released their debut album, ‘Take It Or Leave It’ as of February 16th 2024 on Alcopop! Records🚀
