Growing up in a family of musicians as her father and friends were already familiar names in the rap game, it was written in the stars for Dis to follow the same path. Dis started exploring her sound from an early age, beginning her musical journey. She is a multi-genre artist who works comfortably within drill, trap and melody dominated styles. Raised in New Cross, South East London, poetic inspiration was always at her fingertips, mastering how to channel her experiences into her music with artistry beyond her years.

Signing to GB Records London in 2016, Dis soon released her breakout single ‘Cheeky’, putting her on the map, and harnessing the attention of Stormzy, Kenny Allstar and Drake, to name a few.

Quickly establishing herself on the scene, follow up releases ‘Drop Me Out’, ‘Baby Boy’, and ‘Don’t Be Stupid’ gained global critical acclaim from Fader to i-D citing Dis as “the female rapper to listen to right now”, alongside the likes of Saweetie, Rico Nasty and City Girls. With the most recent release of her EP ‘Hannah Montana’, Dis affirms her accolades as she showcases her raw, slick wordplay and relatability in her lyricism.
