An Islamic/Afrocentric rapper, Divine Styler began his commercial career with <a href="spotify:artist:0eGh2jSWPBX5GuqIHoZJZG">Ice-T</a>'s Rhyme Syndicate label; he recorded two albums, 1989's Word Power and 1991's Spiral Walls Containing Autumns of Light, that strongly favored lyrical development over musical complexity. After several years off-record, he hooked up with the SoleSides family of artists and made features for <a href="spotify:artist:5bf6yYgHODBW5EreBZshpX">Styles of Beyond</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:14ZxDAK6ITtZZqPdiWrvSn">Everlast</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7g2fLiDFPah8xG9QdmG8Zl">the Beat Junkies</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2ZSCqnfcrLXHx14Yz59E58">Quannum</a>.
