Pop/RnB singer-songwriter, Dixie Linn Choque, was first introduced to the piano at age 3. Dixie’s love of improvising blossomed as she would play from her heart which led to recording hundreds of improvised songs in her mom's flip phone.
As a child, Dixie discovered she could play anything she heard, and yet she also enjoyed learning classical music and went on to study classical voice and piano on scholarships at Snow College. Dixie performed the National Anthem for the Utah Jazz’s 2023/24 Season Opener and has been a guest soloist with the Salt Lake Choral Artists. Dixie has sung backing vocals for Josh Groban and opened for artists Tercer Cielo, Alex Campos, and Jenn Blosil. Her musical aspirations include Alicia Keys and Allen Stone, while she has also been greatly influenced by her favorite band, Dashboard Confessional.
Since releasing Grateful in 2021, Dixie dedicated her time to the completion of her Commercial Music degree, with which she graduated from Utah Valley University in 2023. Dixie is excited to finally share the music she has written over the last several years with her fans and feels driven now more than ever to see how far it will take her.
