Setting trends and breaking barriers is nothing new for BIZZY. He has a highly intuitive creative presence that he uses to design sounds. These sounds embrace ears as they motivate minds, move feet, and melt away daily dilemmas. BIZZY has developed this uniqueness from years of studying the greats and embracing the unknown.
BIZZY grew up the son of legendary swing drummer Dwight Smith. BIZZY’s love for music grew and took him on adventures only dreams are made of. BIZZY has spun private parties for Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, Emma Roberts, Courtney Cox, Goldie Hawn, Meghan Trainor, Chris Pine, and Rob Dyrdek to name a few. BIZZY orchestrated live performance shows with the likes of David Arquette and TWITCH (SYTYCD & Ellen). BIZZY also performed as Juicy J’s (3-6 Mafia) tour DJ. BIZZY has lived and performed in LA, NYC, Philadelphia, Detroit, DC, SD, Baltimore, Vegas, Chicago, along with stops in most other major cities.
BIZZY met DVRKO in Detroit two decades ago and they became a production crew. They moved to LA and spent the next decade making music in state of the art studios, signing record deals, and working with artists they have looked up to their entire lives. In 2022 BIZZY and DVRKO released “LEVELS” featuring Mike Taylor. Then in 2024 DVRKO and BIZZY founded GOLD TEETH BRIGADE records. They have released 32 songs since Sept 2024. Some notable ones are “WEAK”, “LOVER GIRL”, “EVERYTHING IS EMBARRASSING”, and “I DON’T WANNA MISS A THING”.
