Fredy Muks is an international multi-genre music producer/songwriter/DJ. Fredy is the first Board Chairman of African Music at the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs). Presented by the Recording Academy since 1958, the GRAMMYs are a celebration of excellence, the music community's highest honor, and its only peer-based award. As Board Chairman African & Global Music at the Recording Academy, Fredy Muks is a music industry leader who has worked tirelessly to bring African Music and especially the Afropop genre to mainstream America and the slew of African artists who have won the GRAMMYs in recent years is testament to his success. Fredy has made music and performed with the likes of Afro B, Fatima Altieri, Lil Flip and D’banj, King Kaka from Uganda, Sauti Sol from Kenya just to name a very few.
Founder of Muks Entertainment, Fredy is an innovator in the tech space and blockchain assets. He is known by his fans for his mashup skills of popular hits, with classic favorites and eclectic selections tailored to diverse audiences.
