Labeled Chicago's "House Music Queen" by Chicago Magazine, DJ Lady D performs charismatic sets of house, disco, and open-format for influencer, charity and celebrity events from coast-to-coast. With appearances at Lollapalooza, North Coast, Westfest, Noise Pop, Chosen Few, Wanderlust, and SXSW festivals, Lady D has played for thousands of music lovers the world over.
A media darling featured in print, television, and digital campaigns for The Chicago Public Library, CSO, and The City of Chicago, Lady D also appears on film in the documentaries, Slipcue, Godfather of Disco, and Girl. In 2016, Lady D was featured alongside Chaka Khan and Nile Rodgers in the long-awaited book, "Disco Demolition" (about the infamous event).
Playing internationally in Europe, Asia, Russia and all over North America as well as in Chicago’s major nightclubs for the better part of two decades has garnered DJ Lady D a loyal following and reputation as a headliner. Since 2004 she has owned and operated D'lectable Music, a premiere house label and marketing group, within she curates events, produces and remixes music, and provides music supervision. Currently, Lady D is a resident DJ every fourth Friday of the month for Vocalo.org's DJ series (91.1 FM-Chicago).
