DJ Mngadi, affectionately known as Mr Floorspinner, is a trailblazing South African club DJ, radio anchor, music producer, and entrepreneur. He is a founder of Floorspinner Entertainment—a record label launched in 2021 that focuses on discovering and developing talent from disadvantaged communities. Born in Maphumulo, KwaZulu-Natal, real name Sihle Mngadi , he has earned a reputation for his versatile sound rooted in House, Afro Tech, Commercial, and Gqom, while also confidently navigating Amapiano, Maskandi, and 3-Step styles depending on the vibe of the crowd.
Dj Mngadi is most popular for his work with Ukhozi FM. Not many DJs premiere on prime time Monday-Friday 3-6pm on the most listened-to station in the country but he did, and grew to drive the hugely popular nightlife party-starter Fak’umoya on Saturday nights. He’s a dynamic entertainer commanding followership in both radio and live platforms with his sound understanding of the audience..
