Even before his teens, DJ Skull began watching house legends like Farley Jackmaster Funk at Chicago clubs; he learned to DJ beginning at the age of 11. A breakdown in the ethics of many house labels in the early '90s prevented him from releasing records until Dutch label DJax began to take interest in the classic Chicago sound and released several of his singles in the mid-'90s, including "Met 'L" and "Stomping Ground." ~ John Bush
