DJ SmithBeatz who’s biological name is Ifediora Chukwudi Christopher is a Nigerian DJ and music producer known for dishing out free beats and remaking beats of existing popular/new songs
He went viral with the instrumental remake of the song "Karishika" by Falz featuring Phyno in 2015 which made a lot of artists make covers for the song. He also went viral with the instrumental remake of the song “Omo Alhaji” by Ycee also in 2015
DJ SmithBeatz was a chorister in an Anglican Church in Lagos, Nigeria where he was a little treble boy. From there he developed interest in DJing and started manipulating music and sounds at the same time he was still a professional skater attending competitions and also DJing at events
As time went on he started manipulating sounds mixing Acapelas with different instrumentals and blending it together to make another unique sound and that brought him to making his own beats
