Growing up, KJ watched Dr. Dre and other icons like Usher and Michael Jackson, revolutionize music. Each of these inspirational men, played a major role in developing many other artists and changed the game of the music industry. KJ has always admired them for these reasons and their versatility when it comes to creating. Carrying out this passion for music, KJ became very consumed with networking, group growth and the culture of supporting others. He wanted to create a movement, a lifestyle and brand, something that would promote change and be marketable.


KJ has performed in over 8 states, but he currently resides in South Beach, Miami FL, where he plans to continue building his brand. He is very cultural and technology inclined as a DJ and a master of many genres, which sets him apart in the industry. DJKJ capitalizes by making every performance memorable by adapting and interacting with the crowd, as the ambience and music is what makes the difference at any event. DJKJ is able to read the pulse of the crowd and spin accordingly. He describes building the chemistry with the crowd as one of the most important factors of being a DJ. KJ enjoys breaking records and supporting upcoming artists. He is able to work underground music into the mainstream hits and give rising artists the exposure, which is important to him. His focus is playing music that keeps a crowd on the dance floor by playing exclusive edits, remixes and mashups.
